Khamsa saluqis
Khamsa saluqis
Welcome and how are you!
Since 1981, we have sought, worked, and bred saluqis of “classical elegance, type, and performance.” It is our belief that we cannot improve upon what has been perfected over the millenia with regards to Saluqis. We can only strive to preserve and maintain a functional, moderate saluqi that harkens back to those found to be bred by the Bedouin of the desert sands, mountain steppes, and plains of the Saluqi region of origin.
There are a few pages here devoted to the Saluqis that we have had the pleasure to own or admire. Other pages will give you a glimpse into what we have bred over the years. We also enjoy Arabian horses!
Follow the running Saluqis below to our gallery pages or click on the Khamsa to email Jane or Arnett Taylor.
Marhabba! Kaif halek!
First and foremost a saluqi that can function as intended will have a form that is elegant, balanced, moderate and move with an economy of motion that will denote the power and endurance it needs to complete the course.
