In 2002, Patrick was awarded a Saluki Club of America Award of Merit at the national specialty under Vincent Reidy, Al-Yaman Salukis of New Zealand.

Best of Breed San Angeles Saluki Club Futurity, October 1995. Awarded by Frank Cassano, Patayan Salukis.

American Kennel Club Champion. Along the yellow brick road to his championship, Patrick gathered 4 majors for a total of 17 points (a 3, 4 and two 5's) from the Bred-By exhibitor class. All of these points were awarded under saluki breeder judges/sighthound authorities. Patrick also has 2 Best of Opposite Sex awards from the classes and 4 Best of Winners awards. We would like to thank Ms. Lynnette Underwood, Ms. Sue Rooney-Flynn, Mr. Francis Broadway and Ms. Linda Scanlon for recognizing Patrick as an excellent saluki, not just a good smooth.

Three Best in Show-Bred By Exhibitor awards at the UCI International level.

How Patrick got his call name --- At the time the litter was born the television show “The Prisoner” was being rebroadcast.  Arnett suggested that since he was the sixth puppy of the litter that we call him Patrick in honor of the character “Number 6” in the show.  The character was being portrayed by Patrick Magoohan. So I said “Patrick?” over the puppy pen and the little black smooth puppy looked up at me with a “yes? you called?” look and that was that.  Thus the Penny Farthing bicycle with the numeral “6”.
